Engagment Sessions

Why do these matter and why does my package include them?

I’ve found them to be so valuable to our entire experience together, that they are complimentary in all of my wedding packages. It is a chance for us both to get to know each other so I am not a stranger on your wedding day!

Common Reasons Couples Are Hesitant To Get Engagement Photos Done:

“Do we really need an engagement session? We already have our save the dates designed so we don’t need them for that.”

" We are getting married fast and don't think we need them."

"We are too busy planning a wedding."

"My Fiancé doesn't want to do them."

Ultimately it's your decision to use or not use that part of your package...

But here are some reasons why I think you should...

I. It's a Time for Connection

Wedding planning is all-consuming, and it’s easy to get lost in the details and busyness of it all. Including an engagement photo session amidst the hustle and bustle is a perfect way to celebrate your love, slow down, and capture a moment in time (between the big question and the big day) that is so fleeting. Essentially, it gives you time to reconnect, ground yourselves, and have fun.

II. Get to Know Me and Provide Feedback

I can not stress the importance of this point enough. An engagement photo session allows you a critical opportunity to get to know me and how I work before the wedding day. You will become more familiar with my style and approach.  This means you will have  time to give me vital feedback (i.e. you actually don't like close-ups and want none of them on your wedding day). Ultimately, this means that you will likely be happier on your wedding day!

III. Capture the fleeting time that you're engaged

Being engaged is a time of transition. You are shifting from a dating couple to a married one. It's such a happy, exciting time, but it won't last forever. Having engagement pictures taken can be a wonderful way to preserve memories of this brief period, so that you can look back on them for years to come.

The biggest reason: They are FREE and included in your package!
